1. Tie 6 bamboo poles of 180 cm with a ribbon.
2. Cut the 9″ by 12″ drop sheet canvas in a semi circle and attach a drawstring and the top and 2 strings per pole from the inside (to fix the poles position)
3. Cut a rubber stamp into a triangle (each side about 8 cm) and stamp away using textile printing ink
4. Place some comfy pillows and throws inside (throws and cushions pictured available in SPELL HOME) and decorate with a few feathers and watch the happiness unravel!
Pictures and DIY instructions sent to us by the gorgeous Adi Anna (instagram @adimenta) who crafted this teepee as a gift for her two younger brothers who live with her parents in Israel. She took the DIY pics to send with their gift so that they’d be able to erect the teepee themselves.
We were lucky enough to meet Adi Anna when she recently visited Byron Bay, a trip she’d been dreaming of for years (she now wants to move here, hehe, Byron has that effect on people). She gifted us with the above illustration (first image), inspired by our Desert Wanderer shoot with Kelley Ash, which we’ll be framing and displaying proudly at Spell HQ.
Oh how lucky we are to be blessed with such creative, inspiring customers… xx Lizzy & Spelly
