Spell x Splice Boutique Welcome ‘Cactus Rose’ November ’14
Photo Diary by Mel Carrero

The divine Splice Boutique, one of our very first retailers, has been bringing Spell to the lovely women of Sydney’s northern beaches for years, and in the process, creating a pretty wild little Spell following north of the bridge. Spelly & Lizzy wanted to give back to Marisa (the owner of Splice), her lovely team and all their gorgeous customers for their ongoing support of the brand, and what better way to do so then to welcome our November ’14 collection ‘Cactus Rose’ into their stores with a lovely Spring soiree.

We kicked off the perfect spring Sydney evening with a sublime lime, pomegranate & mint cocktail in the fairy lit courtyard of their Newport store. Our spring collection sitting perfectly on rustic wood racks, showcasing a few exclusive Spell x Splice pieces – our Wild Ones Gown in Amber & Desert Rose Playsuit in Blush – available to girls exclusively on the night. It was a Spell frenzy with girls trying piece after piece of floaty leopard, cactus floral and layered crochet while ethereal folk artists Mylee Grace & Emma sung under the stars.

Among the laughter, the champagne, the sea of ever-beautiful Spell prints on flowing fabric, we snacked on the most decadent array of eats by Belinda Black and guests were thanked with one of her signature (mouth watering!!) home made marshmallows (a handful came home all the way home to Byron with me!). It was sad saying goodbye to what was the perfect evening. So, to the girls of Splice Boutique and all your simply gorgeous customers, thank you a million for your on going support, you girls light up our world!

Huge thank you to Mel Carerro (we love you babe!!) for flying all the way down from Byron Bay to take pics for us on the night! Thank you Zubi Cafe  for use of your gorgeous courtyard! And thank you Romantic Movement for such a rustic and romantic bar set up on the night!
